Getting there and where to stay:
Arriving: You can fly into the Glasgow International Airport (GLA). Or you can easily catch a train from other hubs such as London or Edinburgh.
Staying: The maternity hospital is on the verge of the city centre and comes under the postcode G31. Any hotel or Airbnb that comes under City Centre should be good and will be walkable within a 5 to 20-minute walk. West of the hospital has the best choices. The West End of Glasgow is a good area to stay, also, and there is an underground there that is 10 minutes from the City Centre and then a 15-minute walk or many buses going to the City Centre.
Write to us if you need more help with accommodations. Our host, Helen MacDonald, is from the area and has offered to give advice on places to stay as needed.
